Two powerful filter and dust extraction systems were installed to handle the furnace gases produced during the melting process.

The two filter systems are designed for different areas:

• Filter system A is used for direct dust removal from the furnace exhaust gases. With its 20 chambers, it cleans an air volume of 130,000 m³/h at an extraction temperature of up to 220 °C.
• Filter system B captures and cleans the hall exhaust gases. Its 30 chambers handle air volumes of 300,000 m³/h. The extraction temperature of the hall exhaust gases is up to 50°C.

Result: Highly effective exhaust gas purification to reduce dust emissions, improve working conditions and comply with environmental standards.
